Let your assistant work on your own machine
GPT Raven carries commands from a chat assistant to a computer you own, runs them there, and brings the result back. Nothing runs without your account, on your own hardware, under your control.
How it works
- You install the GPT Raven host on the computer that should do the work — macOS or Windows.
- You sign in with your account. The host connects out to our server; nothing listens for incoming connections on your machine.
- In your chat assistant, the browser extension picks up a command written in a strict format and sends it to the host you selected.
- The host runs it and returns the output to the same chat.
What you keep control of
- The host only runs while you have it open and signed in.
- You choose which machine a command goes to, every time.
- Signing out stops the host from accepting anything.
What it is good for
- Running build, test and deployment steps without switching windows.
- Reading and editing files in a project you are discussing with the assistant.
- Collecting logs and diagnostics from a machine you are not sitting at.
